Hey monkey

It has been an absolutely gorgeous Labor Day weekend here in Northern Virginia. I hope you're enjoying your weekend. Thank goodness we were spared the wrath of hurricane Earl! Most of my weekend has been spent inside packing to move the beginning of October but I did send a little time making a card for my son to give his godson for his birthday. Once again, I used my Cricut and the Create A Critter cartridge. A very guick and easy, peasy card! Paper is from The Paper Company.

Thanks for stopping by,

Victorian lady

I finally have a different camera so I hope my pictures will look better. What a fun learning process this is.

I love the accents that are on each corner of the card. I'm sure they have a name but I have no idea what they are called. I cut these and the cameo out with my Cricut using the Heritage cartridge. I wrapped a piece of pink ribbon from Michaels around her neck along with a pink gem from Memory Box. I mounted her on white cardstock cut with an oval Spellbinder Nestabilities embossed with the swiss dot Cuttlebug folder. This was mounted on the pink scalloped oval. I used pop dots to set them up from the card. All paper is from the Paper Company.

I hope you're having a great weekend!

Wedding card

I made this card for a friend's wedding. The paper is from the Paper Company and the ribbon is from Michael's. I used my Cricut Expression to cut out the Mr & Mrs using the Sweetheart cartridge on gold metallic cardstock.

I promise to work on my photography!

Welcome to my blog!

It's only fitting that my first card should be a birthday card I created for my oldest son. Obviously, he's a hockey fan...and not just any team...a Washington Capitals fan! I hope he really likes this card.

Made using my Cricut and Sports Mania cartridge.
