Spring Tag

I'm so tired of the winter that will never end so I sat daydreaming today thinking of Spring and Easter and pastels. This tag came together very quickly.  I covered the tag with paper from Papertrey Ink. Using the English Doily die, I cut it in half and pleated it like a fan and attached it to the tag. I used  Prima flowers that were sprayed with shimmer mist and added a pearl on each from Jolee's Boutique. Finished off with matching ribbon from Papertrey Ink.

I'm entering this in the challenge over at Joan's Garden.

Thank you

I think we have finally turned the corner to Spring! I'm sure that you're as thankful as I am!

The card I made this morning is a thank you card made with spring colors. I love pink and green together, I'm also a BIG fan of pastels. I'm entering this card in the challenge over at Joan's Garden. The requirements are to use pink and green, a thank you card, scallops and stripes. Run on over there and check out the talented group of cardmakers. They always amaze me! I hope you enjoy my card.

Thinking of Spring

I'm sure by now that everyone is awaiting the arrival of Spring just as much as I am. We have been very lucky this year, compared to last, that we haven't gotten much snow here in Virginia. But I know that alot of you have and I hope you've stayed safe and as warm as possible.
The card I'm sharing today is happy little card that makes me think of Spring. I'm entering it in the challenge over at Joan's Garden. The challenge is to use the colors orange and blue, create a card with a spring theme, use a die cut and use a circle.

I knew right off that I wanted to use this stamp from Morehead Stamps. Isn't she adorable? I stamped her on Heavenly Smooth Ultrawhite Cardstock from PaperTemptress using black Memento Ink. She was then colored with various Copic markers and cut with the round Nestability. Then I cut out a blue and an orange scalloped circle and adhered them together. I made a plain white card (6 1/2" X 5") and using a corner punch I rounded opposite corners.
The blue layered paper is from 3Birds and the polka dot paper is from a DCWV stack. I added the Orange Zest swiss dotted satin ribbon from Papertrey Ink
and a butterfly sticker from Martha Stewart. The sentiment is a stamp from JustRite Stampers Heart to Heart set.

I hope you're thinking Spring!

JustRite Stampers

I had alot of fun making this card because I am using JustRite Stamps that I am loving more and more. They have out so many new ones this year that it was hard to chose which to use today. I colored the image with Copic markers which I also enjoy because the more you use them the better you get.  And last but not least...I'm entering this card at Joan's Gardens for her weekly challenge.

Paper: The Paper Company, K&Company, Bazzill, Colorbok, Paper Temptress
Stamps: Mother Nature's Gift Set (JustRite Stamps)
Copics: E29, YR000, YR00, YR02
Misc: Nestabilities, Memory Box Pearls

Sympathy card

What a beautiful weekend this has been in Northern Virginia. Friday in the 70's, yesterday in the low 60's but with 50 mile an hour wind. But hey, it was sunny so how can I complain? Today is nice out also...enough that I could wear sandals while running a few errands. AND The Washington Capitals won this afternoon so I am very happy!
I made a sympathy card to share with you today. This has to be one of the hardest cards to create. I'm sending it to my friend Joan, over at Joan's Garden, because her mother passed away last week. If you've never been to her blog, please visit her and share some love. She carries everything you need for your papercrafting  in her shop.

Supplies:

Paper-Paper Tempress, Papertrey Ink, Bazzill

Copic Markers-V000, B60, G20, Colorless Blender
Memento Ink in London Fog, Stazon Black
Ribbon-Papertrey Ink (plum pudding)
Misc-ScorPal, Nestabilities, CM corner punch

Enjoy your week!

Valentine's

I absolutely love Valentine's Day and all the hearts and flowers and love that goes along with it. Maybe because I know that Spring is following close behind! *LOL*

This card was made to go along with the gift tag that I posted below. I made a 6 1/2" by 5" card using cardstock from The Paper Company. I added two layers of Valentine prints from K & Co. The sentiment "for you" was cut using the Cricut and the Doodletype cartridge from Bazzill cardstock and the hearts were cut with the scalloped heart nestabilities. The center of the cutout hearts were used on the gift tag. And I always use my glue glider to put my layers together.
